Enzo Favaro: sono nato a Grosseto il 02 novembre del 1958 e qui risiedo insieme a mia moglie Daniela e Thomas mio figlio.

Adolescente negli anni settanta durante un viaggio in Inghilterra rimasi attratto dalla produzione inglese di soldatini, che in quel periodo era la guida del settore. Comprati e realizzati, da allora si può dire non ho più smesso.

Durante i miei studi universitari fatti a Siena ( Facoltà di Lettere - Indirizzo Storico ) frequentando l’allora negozio di modellismo ho avuto la possibilità di conoscere quello che adesso considero uno dei miei più grandi amici : Luca Marchetti, ancora non Patron della Pegaso ma al tempo grande modellista. Ricordo i suoi giudizi sui miei pezzi del tempo: impietosi, a volte, ma di grande stimolo per chi voleva migliorare. Gliene sono ancora molto grato. Dalla metà degli anni novanta ho iniziato a partecipare con assiduità ai principali concorsi europei Sevres, Kulmbach, Folkestone, San Vincent ma anche i mondiali di Parigi, Toronto, Glasgow, Roma e moltissimi altri concorsi hanno visto miei pezzi in gara con cui ho ottenuto molte soddisfazioni.

Sono un grande appassionato del periodo napoleonico e ho collaborato con la Pegaso per diverso tempo alla scelta dei soggetti e della relativa documentazione dato che uno dei miei pallini è sempre stato la ricerca e l’acquisto di documentazione del periodo, in questi anni ho realizzato una grande biblioteca specializzata. Oltre ai soldatini colleziono incisioni ottocentesche di ritratti e medaglie in bronzo del periodo napoleonico.

Teen-ager in the seventies during a trip to England I remained attracted by the production English of Figurins, that was the guide of the sector in that period. Bought and realized, since then I can be said I have not stopped anymore.

During my studies university facts to Siena (Faculty of Letters - Historical Address) frequenting then him shop of modelling I have had the possibility to know what I now consider one of my greatest friends: Luca Marchetti, still not "Patron" of the Pegaso but to the time great model maker. I remember his/her judgments on my pieces of the time: it pitied, at times, but of great stimulus for the one who wanted to improve. I am still him of it very thankful. From halves the nineties I have begun to participate with assiduousness in the principals competed European Sevres, Kulmbach, Folkestone, St. Vincent but also the world ones of Paris, Toronto, Glasgow, Rome and a lot of other contests have seen my pieces in competition with which I have gotten a lot of satisfactions.

I am a great impassioned of the Napoleonic period and I have collaborated with the Pegaso for different time to the choice of the subjects and the relative documentation since one of my little balls have always been the search and the purchase of documentation of the period, in these years I have realized a great specialized library. Besides the figurins I collect nineteenth-century incisions of portraits and medals in bronze of the Napoleonic period.
